Armando Alvarez born in Tijuana, Baja California, and graduated from CETYS Universidad, and graduated with honors.
He has a Master´s Degree in Family Sciences from Anáhuac University, and has a Certification Course in Taxes from the Specialization Institute for Executives, Certification Course in International Tax Matters from the Accounting and Administration School of Autonomous University of Baja California, Certification Course in Law from the Law School of Autonomous University of Baja California.
He has been professor in the Tax Area of the Accounting School of CETYS Universidad, Tijuana campus; speaker nationwide in several tax certification courses, as well as in different Family Business workshops; fiscal master´s degree professor at Accounting and Management School of Autonomous University of Baja California campus Tijuana, as well as of CETYS Universidad, at the Tijuana, Mexicali and Ensenada campuses; presenter of different courses and conferences, to several bodies both university, professional and governmental of the country, as neighbor of the State of California in the U.S..
He is an active member of the Public Accountants Association of Baja California; is vice-chairman of International Affairs of the Public Accountants Association of Baja California; is an active member and former chairman of the Tax Studies Academy of Baja California; is an active Member of the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF) Tijuana Chapter; is a member of the Family Firm Institute in Boston, MA., which is the most prestigious entity worldwide of family business consultants; was member of the Work Group for the Comprehensive Tax Reform of the Transition Economic Team of former President Vicente Fox Quesada.
